The casting of Finnick is still not something we have news on, but we’d like to let the world know who many people want to be cast in the role. We want Armie Hammer to trend on Twitter, or the hashtag Armie4Finnick, or if you’re feeling funny, Farmie Ohammer, but most of all we want Armie4Finnick to trend. Can it be done? We hope so! So, we’re asking those of you who have a Twitter account to get on Twitter at 3 pm PST, 6 pm EST, or 11 pm GMT today, July 11th, 2012, and tweet the hell out of the hashtag (#) Armie4Finnick or Armie Hammer. Even if he’s not cast, the world will know about it, and people will take note.

#ArmieHammer #Armie4Finnick #FarmieOhammer.

Hmm..what do you guys think?

Disheartened, 90% of these magazine polls only go on looks though. Guarantee you none of the people who voted have watched more than The Social Network, and they without a doubt do not know that Armie already has a knot tying habit. Also, Kitsch is out, he told the LA Times he’s not in the running, and he likely never wanted to be.

"I wrote an open letter to him back in February, and he responded positively." WAIT, WHAT?! What am I looking for exactly so that I can find it in your archive?

Read this, and then read this. I also wrote this way before those.

I didn't follow the casting news and only read the books after Jen was cast...how did "CinnaWatch2011" end? lol

Lenny Kravitz’s casting was announced via Twitter through the official Lionsgate Twitter handle, and the tweet was tweeted towards the end of a live internet radio show called The HG Fireside Chat. So, essentially The HG Fireside Chat panel announced the casting, because everyone in the fandom was listening to them, and they use Twitter heavily during their shows. It was actually pretty hilarious, because it was a mad scramble for sanity for about 5 minutes.

I like Armie for Finnick too but IMDB says he has a bunch of films he's involved in, how the heck would he even have time for Catching Fire?

That is a question for Armie Hammer himself, I am just a fan of his. But hypothetically if he wants the role of Finnick, he’d have to drop out of probably one of the projects he’s signed on for, which happens all the time. Also, several of the titles listed on IMDB have not been confirmed, I’d say Serpent Girl and 2.22 shouldn’t be taken seriously as this point.
